Mundane believers

A modern fantasy story about mystery, magic, drama and betrayal. In a world where supernatural beings (known as "cryptids") are feared and hated by society, a ragtag group of teenagers try to solve the mystery surrounding a girl in their town by the name of cierra fischer: a goth german shephard with a strange relationship with cryptozoology.

This is one of my oldest OC groups/universes, having first been made when i was 11 years old. I originally created this story due to the fact i hadn't been using this group very much and wanted to expand upon their world, being inspired by my own interest in cryptozoology and the supernatural. Unfortunately the story hasn't aged well due to it's messy allegories for race and discrimination (not to mention one kinda insensitive joke about "faking" mental disorders because the story was being written during THAT era of the internet) and i've had thoughts of one day rewriting the story.

My sonas!!

If you've been around the site for a while, you might have seen my truesona, emma (the bunnygirl with the starry purple hoodie and striped socks) on various graphics as she (and by extension: me) is the mascot of the site. I also happen to have more sonas!! I may not use them very often, but they're still part of the scooby gang regardless!!

Some of them have meaning to them (for example, my slashersona, stuffie the dollmaker, is a representation/exaggeration of some trust issues i deal with and just a lot of my bad traits in general) though many of them are just for fun!!

The spooky arcade friends!!

In downtown cleveland, there lies a humble arcade called "the blast zone" that has been there since the 70's. Rumors speak of that arcade being cursed by spirits who haunt the place; some say you can see strange figures roaming around at night, playing the games inside and causing mischief. There are reports of entire game cabinets changing places multiple times in one day seemingly on their own, and some even saying that the games often glitch out and show unusual imagery...typically depicting disturbing and macabre visuals!! The ones responsible for these phenomenons are non other than the spooky arcade friends, a trio of gaming-themed cryptids!!

This group originally wasn't going to be a trio, it was originally going to JUST be pixel but i figured that she needed characters to interact with so i made poly (who is based on the song "cabinet man" by lemon demon and the polybius urban legend) and dot (based on classic creepypasta tropes, especially those surrounding lost episode and haunted game stories)

Monster found family

There lies a monster shelter atop a hill called "the monster mash-ion" run by a woman named elenora, an eccentric vampire witch who's opened up her home for any odd beings that are down on their luck. The most recent being scout, a human punk cursed by a cheshire cat spirit. While there, scout befriends a scottish former serial killer (...who is also half angel-half fox demon) that calls herself "burning sunny" and the mansion's maid: a pumpkinhead named jaqueline who's family has rather..."macabre"...traditions.

To be honest, i feel like this is probably one of my most diverse group of OCs with the biggest range of inspirations. Elenora is a quirky yet sophisticated vampire who cares deeply for others and takes inspiration from characters like morticia addams and beetlejuice. Scout is a punk cursed to dress in kawaii fashion by a cheshire cat spirit and acts as a straight man for the group (to be honest they're kinda just a hodge podge of whatever i thought was cool). Sunny is based almost entirely on "cringey" creepypasta OCs from the 2010's such as nina the killer and is the reincarnation of a long dead deity and jaqueline is a murderous yet morally grey maid from the south who doesn't see humans as people and is inspired by niffty from hazbin hotel and leatherface from the texas chainsaw massacre.

Angels and demons

In this world, there are 2 dimensions separate from our own that effect it in different ways: there's pancaelus, a world made from and fueled by the goodness in humanity and run by angels who help keep earth in order; and ignipravus, which is practically the opposite from pancaelus in every way. Despite their differences, an angel from the winter region of pancaelus and a succubus have become friends and actively challenge these dimensions' societal ideas.

Over the years i've made OCs that were reflections of my life in various ways, for example: i eventually ended up making minni a fanfiction writer when i was around 14 because i had started to seriously get into writing as a hobby around that time. These two are no different as i've been really thinking about the types of people i would associate myself with in my teen years and the misguided beliefs they and many others have been taught. Jescha's story represents feeling like an objectively terrible person for being yourself as well as feeling helpless when it comes to politics (IE boycotting something knowing that your contribution by itself will make a very small difference in the long run) while gabby's story represents a person deviating from society's pressures to follow their own path and start to think for themself. It's a little pretentious, i know, but it's something that resonates with me.
