...Emma what the FUCK is a tumblr sexyman and why do you have a whole webpage about them?

"Tumblr sexyman" is a fandom term referring to a fictional character (typically male but there ARE exceptions) that many people in their respective fandom (especially those who use the social media platform, tumblr) find attractive and sometimes even obsess over to the point that the character themself has a fandom all on their own. There are a few common attributes within popular sexymen (ex: well dressed, tall, skinny, etc) though it's moreso a "you know it when you see it" type of thing. A few well-known tumblr sexymen include the onceler from the lorax, sans from undertale, wheatley from portal and much much more!!!

While i personally am not attracted to most of the characters people refer to as "tumblr sexymen," i genuinely find the whole phenomenon surrounding them to be fascinating; as a tumblr user myself, it's just kinda part of my culture, y'know?

So what's this AU about?

A few years ago, back when the first tumblr sexyman contest on twitter was still being talked about: there was a very, VERY small art trend (if you could even call it that) where people reimagined tumblr sexymen into a monster high/ever after high esque doll line. I really liked that idea and decided to jump on the bandwagon (...albeit a few years late.) And thus: tumblr sexyman high was born!!!

Quick disclaimer though that while the AU/"brand" is called "tumblr SEXYMAN high": i am not trying to sexualize any of these underage characters in any way, i do not believe that these characters should be considered sexypeople themselves nor do i condone sexualizing minors in general.

There isn't really a "story" to this AU, nor is there much lore. All that i've really thought up for it is that it's VERY rare for two different sexymen to have a child together and that the child is considered a "hybrid" of the two; and also, if a sexyman canonically has kids in the source material (ex: clay puppington from morel orel, william afton from FNAF, etc) at least ONE of their canon kids would be either aged up or down so that THEY could attend TSH instead of an original character (there ARE exceptions though, i like the idea of giving charlie from hazbin hotel a little sister). If anything, i would want this AU to be similar to the SCP foundation in the sense that ANYONE could write their own stories about the characters, create their own lore, etc and it would all TECHNICALLY be canon. At the end of the day: tumblr sexyman high is a celebration of fandom culture and the media we love.
